MityLite Expands to U.S. with New Manufacturing Facility in Utah

MITY Inc Announces U.S. Manufacturing Expansion, Creating Over 50 Jobs in Utah County

OREM, Utah — [December 19, 2025] — MITY Inc, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality commercial furniture, announced that it is relocating its Holsag by MityLite manufacturing operations from outside the United States to Utah. Previously, the Holsag product line of hardwood seating was manufactured in Canada. The move to Utah is expected to create more than 50 new jobs in the local community over the next two months. An upcoming job fair on Jan. 13 and 14 will provide prospective applicants with additional information about benefits and access to on-the-spot interviews.

The move underscores MityLite’s commitment to American craftsmanship, supply chain resilience and long-term investment in U.S. communities. By bringing manufacturing closer to its primary customers, the company aims to improve lead times, prevent price increases from tariffs and reduce its environmental footprint.

Hiring for Holsag manufacturing positions is already underway, with the majority of hiring expected to occur in mid-January. MityLite is hosting a job fair on Jan. 13 and 14, which will be open to the public. It will be held at the MityLite corporate headquarters at 1301 W. 400 N., Orem, UT, 84057. On Tuesday, Jan. 13, the job fair hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Wednesday, Jan. 14, the job fair will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. only, with no evening hours. The company plans to begin hiring immediately for roles across production, quality assurance, logistics, and operations, with additional positions expected as capacity expands.

MITY Inc. operates several offices and warehouses in Orem. To make room for Holsag manufacturing, MITY Inc. has leased an additional 80,000 square foot facility in nearby Lindon, Utah, in the Gateway Industrial complex, which will house the company’s shipping operations.
